Raqami Islamic Digital Bank Limited (“RIDBL”), Pakistan’s first fully digital Shariah-compliant retail bank, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with VIZPRO to collaborate on developing Shariah-compliant digital retail supply chain financing solutions for retailers and merchants across Pakistan.

The partnership aims to support kiryana stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, and general trade outlets connected through VIZPRO’s Vizlink platform by enabling access to digital inventory ordering, cashless payment solutions, and embedded Islamic financing facilities.

Through this collaboration, RIDBL and VIZPRO intend to jointly work towards digitizing Pakistan’s FMCG retail distribution ecosystem by connecting distributors with small retailers and facilitating seamless digital commerce and financing journeys.

Under the proposed collaboration, RIDBL will provide Shariah-compliant financing and digital banking infrastructure, while VIZPRO will provide technology-enabled retailer and distributor connectivity through its Vizlink platform. The initiative is expected to improve financial inclusion, operational efficiency, and access to formal financing for underserved retail merchants powered by a data driven credit scoring mechanism.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Umair Aijaz, CEO of RIDBL highlighted that the partnership aligns with the Bank’s vision of building a digitally enabled Islamic financial ecosystem focused on innovation, inclusion, and SME and merchant empowerment.

Mr. Akbar Ayub Khan, Co -Founder/ CEO of VIZPRO stated that the collaboration will help accelerate the digitization of retail trade and strengthen access to financing solutions for merchants operating within Pakistan’s fragmented retail supply chain landscape.
